2. Sinova Malinois Kennel

belgian malinois dog breed

Sinova Malinois Kennel, located near the city of Ottawa, Ontario, takes great pride in their dedication to breeding top-tier working Belgian Malinois puppies.

The origin of the name Sinova is quite personal and heartwarming. It is a creative blend of Stephanie’s first Malinois, Nova, and her first Australian Cattle Dog, Simba.

These two beloved pets set the foundation for what Stephanie envisioned in her breeding program: dogs that exhibit the best working abilities and health, high obedience, and also a temperament that is true to their breed.

Sinova is therefore committed to crafting a lineage of high quality dogs that set an example of true working dogs. Their trained obedient dogs are recognized for their intelligence, agility, and unmatched work ethic.

Sinova emphasizes the commitment required to raise these energetic and smart dogs. They thrive on constant mental and physical stimulation, which is what this breeder is well aware of.

From the highest levels of IPO, to police work, to French Ring and beyond, Sinova’s puppies are introduced to a world that challenges their abilities and satisfies their inherited drive for action.

The breeding dogs undergo rigorous health and temperament screenings. This commitment extends to their puppies, who are socialized from an early age to various environments and stimuli.

Whether destined to become esteemed police dogs, compete in IPO, or excel in AKC obedience events, Sinova puppies are nurtured to reach their full potential.

3. Expat Malinois

Meet the passionate duo behind Expat Malinois, Michaela Bouzkova and Anthony Hartelaub, owners of the kennel whose own journeys began far from the serene landscapes of Southwestern Ontario, Canada.

Michaela comes from the Czech Republic, and Anthony from France. They both bring a piece of their homelands to the heart of their breeding program.

These CKC member breeders chose the name “Expat” not only to reflect their personal stories but also to honor the European roots of their beloved dog breed, the Belgian Shepherd Malinois, and the sports that have shaped their bloodlines – IGP (formerly IPO), French Ring, and Belgian Ring.

Michaela’s journey in dog sports started in the late ’80s in the Czech Republic, initially with German Shepherds and as a breed advisor for Newfoundland dogs for the Czech Kennel Club.

Meanwhile, Anthony has dedicated much of his time to IPO helper work. As a trial helper, he contributed his skills at several championships in Canada and France.

Additionally, since 2003, he has been extensively involved in enhancing dog sport time by training club dogs, ensuring they are well-prepared and adept for upcoming competitions.

Together, they continue to train and develop top-tier Malinois, demonstrating their hard work in competitions like the IGP 2019, as well as fostering the next generation of champions in Southern Ontario.

What Is The Average Cost Of A Belgian Malinois Puppy?

If you are looking into getting a Belgian Malinois puppy in Canada, then you’re probably looking at prices between $1,500 to $3,000 canadian dollars.

The price often reflects the quality of the breeding program.

Breeders who pour love, care, and rigorous health checks into their pups might ask for more, but it’s worth it for a furry friend who’s healthy and happy.

Keep an eye out for deals that seem too good to be true, as they might not offer the same care and attention to detail. Your future pup deserves the best start in life.
